Coverage of departure of US dependents from Da Nang and Saigon. Also (first 200') scenes of Ambassador Maxwell Taylor and Gen William C. Westmoreland at ceremonies during which flag-draped caskets of US servicemen were decorated by Republic of South Vietnam. (Shot list to follow.) Maxwell Davenport Taylor (August 26, 1901 – April 19, 1987) was a senior United States Army officer and diplomat of the mid-20th century.[1] He served with distinction in World War II, most notably as commander of the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed "The Screaming Eagles."
